Commercial Printing Estimator
Seeking a skilled Commercial Printing Estimator with expertise in both offset and digital printing processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of printing processes, materials and production workflows.
You will play a crucial role in accurately estimating costs for printing projects for profitability in consideration of client specs and deadlines.
Experienced in print estimating - digital and offset workflows - 2-5 years hands on or equivalent education/training.
Knowledge of print estimating software Communicate effectively with sales/production to clarify project details.
Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to obtain competitive for services and materials.
Generate complete bid estimates and prepare bid packages Submit bid and bid documents by bid deadline Complying with estimating procedures when developing project estimates Managing the estimating and bid/quote schedule Establish estimating library and database history for estimating Prepare estimates using estimating systems software in addition to manual unit estimating Perform pre-bid review of all estimates Providing estimating expertise for projects and bids Prepare competitive bid proposals, conceptual estimating, value engineering and provide appropriate estimating services on construction management proposals Determining bid proposals for projects Costing estimating and pricing proposal development Producing cost estimates for construction projects or services Prepare competitive construction estimates and bid-related documentation for projects Assist with estimating change orders Provide estimates and take offs for projects Evaluate incoming estimating opportunities vsexisting estimating commitments Using company cost and estimating methodology Develop a cost estimating historical database Support estimating strategies on assigned projects Providing estimating support on larger projects Recommended Skills Cost Estimating Software Estimators Project Cost Management Apply to this job.
