Job Summary/Purpose:
Maximizes the timeliness of the diagnostic and evaluative process to facilitate the care of the patients. By coordinating the schedule between the patient, clinical services and physicians, and provides the patient with a complete overview of the scheduled itinerary. Makes informed decisions in meeting the patient's own healthcare needs. Completes necessary documentation and pre-certification of treatments and procedures. Communicates with patients, caregivers, doctors, case managers and clinical services departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School graduate
Two (2) years medical office experience preferred
Light typing skills/keyboard knowledge
Proficiency in computer applications
Knowledge of medical information and terminology preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
