Purpose Summary: The Professional Clinical Registered Nurse practices to provide the Mother Standard of care. Individualized care to the pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient and family is provided within the realm of relationship based care. An Individualized plan of care is provided; utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Independently guides nursing practice and evaluates patient specific outcomes. Responsible for inspiring and guiding the other qualified patient care team members to ensure clinically excellent outcomes through effective delegation in the exercise of his/her independent judgment. Utilizes effective communication to support a culture of caring and healing in which the patient and family are the central focus. Nursing care address physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs of the patient, and coordinates the plan of care with other healthcare professional's patients, support persons and all members of the healthcare team. MAIN PURPOSE: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents the care of hematology/oncology, stem cell transplant & ambulatory care patients. Assists with special procedures. Directs the care delivered by patient care technicians and other members of the healthcare team. REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES: Graduate of NLNAC or CCNE School of Nursing, and licensed in the state of practice Bachelor's Degree in nursing strongly preferred OCN Certification within two years of hire ACLS & BLS Certified, and maintain while in position 1 ? 2 yrs Experience with Critical Care Nursing Telemetry - Ability to read and operate cardiac monitor, recognize normal/abnormal rhythms, and institute appropriate interventions within 6 months of hire ONS chemotherapy certification within 6 months - Medical PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES: Oncology and/or Critical Care Nursing Experience. National certification in bone marrow transplant (BMTCN), CCRN, or OCN 1-2 years of acute care experience Essential Physical Requirements: Ability to perform light to heavy work, which includes frequent lifting and positioning of patients. For greater than 35 pounds it may be expected that the nurse will request assistance from a co-worker for lifting and transferring. Ability to stand/walk 6 to 8 hours per shift. Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop and occasionally kneel and squat. Ability to perform various repetitive tasks i.e., simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation (keyboard). Good visual acuity is required for patient assessment, medication administration and documentation of care. Good hearing is essential for accurate patient assessment. All employees within this job classification may have high risk exposure to blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
